The investigation of elemental sulfur solubility plays critical roles on sour gas reservoir development. In this paper, the was directly measured by static method with samples from well M1 a in Sichuan Basin. results show that ranges 0.001 g/cm 3 to 0.968 at 40–98.9 MPa and 15–49.8 MPa. increases increasing temperature pressure, especially when pressure is greater than 30 Moreover, H 2 S content mixtures also an important factor affecting solubility. mixtures. experimental data paper display consistent trend reported data. Based results, chrastil-type model, Robert’s model Hu’s were investigated compared. fitting has less error higher accuracy calculating M reservoir. models proposed literature, meanwhile, are only based regression specific components conditions, which lead large calculation research. research provide basic technical support for development
